    SJA "Messengers of Welcome"

Several months ago, a new ministry was started by a group designated Messengers of Welcome, with the objective of welcoming new parish-ioners to St. Joan of Arc Parish. After they have registered with the Parish Office, new parishioners are contacted by a “Messenger” by phone and offered the opportunity for a brief personal visit, either at home or, more typically, at the church after a Sunday Mass. The “Messenger” offers an information packet about the parish, including several small gifts, and addresses any questions or concerns the new parishioners may have. Questions about Messengers of Welcome may be directed to the Parish Office at 963-4500.

             Did you know???

….that SJA collects diapers and other baby needs on behalf of Birthright of DuPage — a crisis pregnancy center that provides counseling and assistance? At the end of the LINK (hallway between the church and the school) there is a baby crib to collect donations.
